Senior CAD IC Engineer

OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced CAD Engineer to support our IC design tools and databases. The candidate will help to develop the new CAD infrastructure and ensure daily operations for design engineers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install and maintain foundry technologies (both Silicon and III/V technologies)
- Install and maintain EDA tools (Cadence, ADS, Cliosoft, Mentor, CST,…)
- Ensure that projects, tools and technologies stay in sync across multiple sites
- Develop new workflows
- Develop new Linux tools (csh and python)
- Develop new EDA tools (skill, ael, python)
- Support engineers with custom pcells in Cadence/ADS
- Support users in general CAD problems
CAD ADMINISTRATION
- Document all existing CAD flows
- Introduce, set up and document new CAD flows
- Support international offices in Taiwan, US & Singapore
- Maintenance of the license renewal
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in Electronics, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience working in CAD operations
- Being aware of 3rd -party Grid-like systems is a plus
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, databases and data storage systems
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize and manage effectively time and deadlines
- English spoken & written
- Fast learning capability and have self-driven and motivated characteristics
- Good communication skills and team player
